The Pines Flora and Fauna Reserve is an protected site for indigenous flora and fauna, some of which are considered to be rare or threatened. It is one of the last remaining habitats for some species, such as the endangered New Holland Mouse and the Southern Brown Bandicoot, which need the cover of the dense heathy vegetation for their survival. It is a precious area of nature in the midst of the urban landscape. Walk through the remnant indigenous bushland and stop at the lookout to enjoy stunning panoramic views of Melbourne, Port Phillip Bay and the Dandenong Ranges

Botany Park Recreational Reserve covers six hectares and contains a Melbourne Water Retarding Basin. The large Reserve has open fields, shelter and is home of Carrum Downs Baseball Club and Skye Cricket Club

Banyan Reserve covers eight hectares and contains a Melbourne Water retarding basin set in a beautiful setting with walking tracks and small playground. There is parking within the reserve, a large football oval and public toilets. Please note that the toilets are open during sporting or special events. There is dog free roam area near the retarding basin.

Banjo Rise Reserve is a one hectare reserve supporting a heathy woodland community. It is home to many local birds, small lizards and isolate orchid populations

A beautiful, large park with a nice mixture of open grass spaces and native bush. There is a basketball court and play equipment.

Carrum Downs Recreation Reserve is a large reserve with football ground, cricket pitch and home of several local sporting clubs. Reserve highlights include BBQ,Cricket facilities,Dog friendly (on lead),Football facilities,Parking,Playground,Shelter, Toilets, Walking tracks and wetlands
